The Leanne Fund

The Leanne Fund is the foremost Cystic Fibrosis support organisation in Scotland, working across 12 NHS regions to bring hope to those affected by the illness, share the burdens that CF brings, and significantly change the lives of sufferers and their families through a range of social, practical, emotional, and financial support services.

Living with Cystic Fibrosis impacts daily on the lives of sufferers and their families. Through a range of unique services, The Leanne Fund aim to enable all those affected by CF to lead a fuller life and for their families to cope better as carers.

The Leanne Fund provide the following services:
* Hello Little One – provision of essential items to families who’s little one has received a CF diagnosis
* Get Active – provision of sports equipment and tailored exercise/fitness plans
* Counselling - confidential counselling sessions without financial pressure
* Pamper Hampers – provision of essential toiletries/snacks for inpatients
* Complementary Therapies - bringing a range of therapies at no cost to them
* Patient Transport Costs – support with costs associated with getting to unplanned hospital appointments
* Crisis Grants - supporting families who are facing financial challenges as a direct result of caring for a family member who suffers from CF
* TV cards for inpatients – provision of TV/Media cards to offset cost for families
* Christmas Rainbow – support towards the family Christmas meal
* Special treats/experiences - days out, family holidays, driving lessons, etc
* On the Move – support for those moving to independent living
* Over the Rainbow – a special experience for those in final stages of illness.
